Day Wise Itinerary

Meet and greet at Bagdogra/Siliguri and proceed by private transfer to Phuentsholing, which is approximately a 5–6 hour drive from Bagdogra.

Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Later, you may explore the local market and nearby surroundings on your own.

Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

After breakfast, proceed to the Phuentsholing Immigration Office to complete the tourist permit formalities.

Later, transfer to Thimphu, the capital and largest city of Bhutan. The journey takes approximately 6 hours / 172 km.

En route, visit - Kharbandi Gompa , Great Buddha Statue , Waterfall , Chukha Dam.

Upon arrival in Thimphu, check in to the hotel and relax.

Overnight stay in Thimphu.

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Punakha, located approximately 90 km / 3 hours from Thimphu.

En route and in Punakha, visit: Dochula Pass, Chimi Lhakhang, Punakha Dzong, Punakha Suspension Bridge

After sightseeing, return to Thimphu.

Overnight stay in Thimphu.

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Thimphu, covering Durga Temple / Shiv Temple, Buddha Point, Coronation Park, Takin Zoo, Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong and Simply Bhutan, where you can experience Bhutanese traditional culture. Later, proceed by road to Paro. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.

After breakfast, proceed for Paro sightseeing covering Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong), Kyichu Lhakhang Monastery, Drukgyal Dzong (currently closed to tourists), Tiger Nest Monastery viewpoint and Ta Dzong (Paro Museum). Optional: Proceed for a hike to the iconic Tiger Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang), one of Bhutan's most famous Buddhist landmarks, dramatically located on a cliffside overlooking the Paro Valley. The temple complex was built in 1692 around the Taktsang Senge Samdup Cave, where Guru Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated in the 8th century.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed by road for your transfer to Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. Depart Bhutan with beautiful memories of the Land of Happiness.

Inclusions, Exclusions & Terms

Inclusions

  • Meet & greet on arrival at Bagdogra Airport.
  • Drop-off at Bagdogra Airport.
  • SDF (Sustainable Development Fee).
  • Bhutan Government-approved English & Hindi-speaking guide.
  • 01 Bhutan Tourist SIM Card on a complimentary basis.
  • ½ litre mineral water bottle per person on a complimentary basis.
  • Local market sightseeing for 1–2 hours in Thimphu & Paro.
  • Executive vehicle as per the mentioned tour itinerary for all transfers and sightseeing.
  • Vehicle will be provided on a point-to-point basis as per the mentioned itinerary and will not be available on a disposal basis.
  • Driver and vehicle services will be available from 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break for the driver.
  • Under emergency conditions, the vehicle will be provided whenever required.

Payment Policy

  • Immediate payment is required for flight tickets at the time of package confirmation.
  • 40% advance payment of the land package cost is required to confirm the booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to the departure date.
  • Failure to make the balance payment within the stipulated time may result in automatic cancellation of the booking.

Cancellation Policy

  • 25% of the package cost will be charged if the booking is cancelled 30 days prior to the check-in date.
  • 50% of the package cost will be charged if cancelled between 29–16 days before the check-in date.
  • 75% of the package cost will be charged if cancelled between 15–05 days before the check-in date.
  • 100% of the package cost will be charged if cancelled within 04 days of the check-in date or in case of a No Show.
  • Flight cancellation charges will be applicable as per the respective airline's cancellation policy.
  • A service charge of ₹250 per person per sector will be applicable for all flight cancellations.

Important Notes

  • We reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising Any services.
  • The vehicle used is AC/NAC and is available for point to point services only and is not at disposal. Clients are requested to follow the itinerary.
  • Hotel rooms, flights, sightseeing tickets, cruise bookings, and other services are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
  • Standard hotel check-in time is 02:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM.
  • Currency exchange rates are subject to market fluctuations and may change at the time of final payment.
  • SIC (Seat-In-Coach) refers to shared transfers or sightseeing services.
  • PVT (Private) refers to exclusive private transfers by cab or van.
  • Guests are requested to report to the hotel lobby or designated pickup point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time for all shared and private transfers.
  • Failure to report at the scheduled pickup time will be treated as a No Show, and no refund or rescheduling will be provided.
  • Any increase in government taxes, airline surcharges, visa fees, or supplier charges after the quotation date will be borne by the guest.
  • Any services not specifically mentioned under Package Inclusions shall be treated as excluded from the package.

DO'S

  • Always carry valid Original Documents (Passport should have Valid Date, it should not be an expired one and the Voter ID should be Original, Duplicate is not allowed).
  • Follow proper dress code while visiting offices and religious sites. Entering religious monuments and offices with singlet and miniskirts are not our norm.
  • Remove your hat while entering religious sites and kindly take off your footwear while entering the temple altar rooms.
  • Maintain Silence in heritage and religious sites and monuments.
  • Always walk clockwise while passing heritage and religious monuments.
  • Proper permit is required to explore religious artifacts or antiques.
  • Always carry valid travel documents and produce the same if required.
  • Be fully insured against unforeseen medical emergencies.
  • In case of loss of travel documents, report to the nearest immigration office, police or TCB (Tourism Council of Bhutan) office.
  • Be responsible for your own waste and dispose them in designated areas.
  • Follow traffic rules and use designated zebra crossing line for your safety.
Report to TCB (Tourism Council of Bhutan) on misbehavior of guide, driver or tour operators.

DON'TS

  • Refrain from touching any murals, religious painting and objects in the temples as it is disrespectful as per the local culture.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited
  • Carrying and use of drone is strictly prohibited

  • Spitting on the wall and other places are discouraged
  • Taking photographs and filming are restricted in some areas, so please retrain from filming and taking photograph in those areas.
  • Retrain from feeding animals on highways, parks and in other places.
  • Washing, swimming or throwing objects into lakes and other water bodies are prohibited as it is considered sacred.
  • Do not sit straddle or legs stretched in front in the altar as it is culturally offensive, we expect you to cross your legs or kneel when sitting in religious places.
